Karen A. Tuggle, Agency Manager

Karen A. Tuggle is a Licensed Property Casualty agent and Life & Health agent in North Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia. With over 29 years experience in the insurance industry, Karen began her career in 1979 at State Farm Insurance in Pulaski, Virginia. For the next 21 years, Karen developed knowledge and customer service skills that would lead to her creating of her very own Independent Insurance Agency in Dublin, Virginia. After her husband's job relocation to North Carolina's Piedmont Triad, Karen joined MEMCU Insurance as Agency Manager.

Karen is married to Gerald Tuggle, a Technical Sales Manager for Arvin Meritor. The couple has three children: Christopher Lewis, Kayla Lewis, and Amanda Tuggle. Christopher, 23, lives in Dublin, Virginia, where he works for Lewis Construction. Kayla, 20, is scholarship basketball player at Bluefield College in Bluefield, Virginia. A junior, Kayla majors in Sports Science and Business Management. Amanda, 18, is a freshman at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia, where she studies accounting.
